Princess V50 | 2005 | 329 000 €

The Princess V50 belongs to the generation of British motor yachts that set the standard for how a sporty cruiser should feel, with a deep V-hull for a soft ride, elegant lines and real driving pleasure.

This particular boat has been continuously upgraded since 2021, culminating in a complete re-fit at Stockholm Yacht during the winter of 2024/25.

The result is a boat where classic elegance and modern technology meet in every detail, and that combination is exactly what makes Poco Loco stand out on the market.

Exterior

The Princess V50 Open carries a raw, sporty silhouette that her hardtop sister models never quite reach.

The steeply raked windscreen and the stern’s slope toward the water create a profile that is further sharpened by the new pearl grey wrap, which catches the light along the hull’s sweeping line and brings out its shape.

The canopy top keeps the feel of a genuine sports boat intact, no fixed roof closing her in.

Twin Volvo Penta D12 engines at 715 hp each deliver a top speed of 34 knots, making sure the looks are backed up by real performance.

Helmstation

The helm has not just received new instruments, Stockholm Yacht redesigned the entire driving environment.

The new panel in matte grey and black gives a cohesive, modern impression where every detail feels considered rather than bolted on.

At the centre sits a 16 inch Raymarine Axiom plotter, flanked by three i70s displays for speed, heading and depth.

The wheel and the docking joystick sit within easy reach, with the switch row gathered above the screen.

Beyond the joystick there is also a wireless docking remote, letting you manoeuvre the entire boat from a handheld control and giving you the freedom to bring her alongside yourself, without depending on anyone else on board.

Cockpit

The cockpit is truly where life on board happens.

Spending a warm summer day here in good company, with the sun, the sea and the archipelago all around, is simply a privilege.

The generous sun pad in the stern, above the swim platform, invites hours of sun and swimming.

The wet bar keeps a cold drink always within reach, and lets you prepare something good without ever leaving your company.

Cockpit

With the side panels up, the cockpit turns into a cosy room all its own.

Here the company gathers around the table for a long dinner, sheltered from wind and weather but still right in the middle of the archipelago.

The same sun pad that invites sun and swimming with the sides down becomes a tucked-away lounge, perfect for a book, a game of cards or simply a moment’s rest with a view over the water.

Salon & Gally

Traditional dark, high gloss wood meets light, modern textiles here, creating a uniquely warm atmosphere where classic meets new, where a country club meets a modern hotel.

Even though the cockpit is the central gathering place, the salon has a character of its own that makes it a wonderful place to be.

All of this is thanks to the boat’s extensive makeover, and here we find a new Alcantara headliner with integrated accent lighting, a new worktop, a reupholstered sofa and new carpets tying it all together, a room true to its heritage but given new life.

Owners Cabin

The same atmosphere as in the salon meets you here, high gloss dark wood in warm contrast against light, soft textiles, a combination that feels as homely as it is elegant.

Light falls softly through the skylight above the bed, giving the room a calm, relaxed feel at any time of day.

The large berth dominates the cabin but still leaves plenty of room to move around.

Storage in the form of well-designed overhead lockers and wardrobes blends naturally into the cabin’s layout, offering generous storage space.

The cabin’s own en-suite bathroom is bright and airy, with a separate shower cubicle for anyone who wants their morning routine in peace.

Altogether, it is exactly what you would expect from a Princess, and then some.

Guest Cabin

The same warm contrast that meets you in the salon and the owner’s cabin naturally continues here as well.

High gloss dark wood in the bedside table against light, soft textiles, a combination that holds the feel together throughout the boat.

In the guest cabin we find two separate berths, a solution that works just as well for friends as for children who want their own space to stretch out in.

And of course the guest cabin also has its own bright, airy bathroom, with a separate shower cubicle for maximum comfort.

Engine Room & Service

Poco Loco has been stored in a heated hall every winter since the seller took over the boat, the first years on the Swedish East Coast, and since the autumn of 2025 at Karlans on the Swedish West Coast.

The engines have been serviced continuously according to Volvo Penta’s service intervals, always by marine technicians, and documentation of the service history exists.

That the standard of care has stayed high shows in the details too: the turbochargers were replaced in 2022, and ahead of this season the heat exchangers were cleaned and the gearboxes serviced with new oil and filters.
The result is machinery as well kept as the rest of the boat.

Throughout this listing you have caught glimpses of what has made Poco Loco into the boat she is today, but the full list is in fact too extensive to fit into the running text.

Here is the complete breakdown, clear proof of why she is today one of the most uniquely updated Princess V50s on the market.
